Melinda's journey began after high school with an innate desire to help others. She enrolled and graduated in Medical Assisting at Bryant & Stratton and continued her studies enrolling and graduating from Continental school of Beauty for Esthetics. She decided to enroll into Massage school at New York Institute of Massage and has never looked back. Melinda approached her career in healthcare solely in honor of her mothers' courageous and on-going health issues. The intuitive touch you feel during a session with Melinda stems from her compassionate approach that started and blossomed over the years from her goal of decreasing discomfort and pain for her mom.
Melinda has 15 years combined experience in both Massage Therapy and Esthetics. She has traveled yearly to extend her education. For the majority of her career, she has worked primarily in a medical background alongside chiropractors and physical therapist as well as holistic practices working with acupuncturist and fellow estheticians.
The purpose for creating Massage with Melinda is to extend her personal approach to health and beauty for those who cannot access it otherwise. We believe when you help yourself, you help the world. Being able to control the functionality so people from all backgrounds and walks of life can feel the health increasing benefits of massage therapy is our ultimate goal. CUPPING MASSAGE
SculptIce
Cupping massage is a therapeutic technique that uses suction cups to promote circulation, relieve muscle tension, and encourage relaxation. Pressure can be light to firm, cup can be left in place or moved and glided across an area of concern. It's great for targeting specific areas of pain or tightness. It is also really beneficial for the colder seasons when the cold and flu bugs are bothering little and big humans. Combine cupping with a soothing essential oil treatment to recover your immune system back to healthy lot quicker.
SculptICE is a unique service that helps contour, tone, and detoxify the body while also promoting lymphatic drainage and skin tightening. Facials target skin tightening, contouring, and anti-aging benefits.If you have an upcoming event such as brides, professionals, and anyone wanting a non-invasive lift try a SculptICE facial.
SculptICE Body Treatments focus on those cellulite reduction, body sculpting, post-op recovery, or lymphatic drainage. Great for postpartum moms, fitness enthusiasts, or people who are already on a weight-loss journey.
Individual sessions are available but best to purchase 3 or more for best results. Packages are available.
Therapeutic Massage
A targeted massage that addresses specific areas of pain or tension, like neck or back pain. It may include techniques such as deep tissue work, hot stones, cupping, or other tools to help relieve discomfort and improve mobility. This is not necessarily a full-body massage—it focuses on the areas that need the most attention. The term therapeutic is used widely to describe massage because different modalities and tools may be used during the session to reach the desired goal you as a client are seeking. Each massage is customized every session to give you the ultimate experience with the goal to provide the best relief one session at a time. Packages are available.
Relaxation Massage
Relaxation Massage is a calming massage where the clients focus is full body relaxation designed to reduce stress, promote circulation and help you unwind. This has been added recently to compliment clients who just want to relax and not focus on problem related areas. It is full body, no tools are used and no muscles are given extra attention due to client specifications and time restraints. Hot towels are complimentary for every session.

CANCELLATION POLICY
If for any reason you are unable to keep an appointment please notify us by phone or email at least 48 hours in advance of your scheduled session.
No refunds are given. You can discuss with therapist your options for possible rescheduling. If therapist was booked for outpatient care and client is not at designated location or cancels, you are fully responsible for payment in full.
Exceptions are made for illness or extenuating circumstances such as force majeure.
Clients are not required to pay a cancellation fee with a valid medical note.
As therapists, this is our livelihood. A missed appointment is a loss to our therapists as well as our clients.
Late Policy
All late arrivals will end according to your scheduled start and stop time. Due to tightly booked schedules, we are unable to extend appointments beyond the originally specified time.
Insurance
Unfortunately, insurance is not currently accepted for massage therapy services at this location. We can provide you with a superbill that you can send your insurance for reimbursement.
First Appointments
If this is your first appointment it is very important to understand no treatment will be given without a completed intake form. If you are unfamiliar with online forms please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your session so we can provide you with help filling out your intake form.
